MacBook Landing in Penang this Friday

Come this Friday 8pm, 31 Oct 2008. The new MacBook will be landing in Penang.
Launching of the MacBook & MacBook Pro will be at 8pm, Gurney Plaza.

Customers who have already put in orders with us will get their MacBook once they are distributed to our outlets.
The Spring (Kuching), The Mines (Seri Kembangan) and Sogo (KL) will get theirs on the next day (1 Nov 2008).

Going green

In our efforts to go green, Switch will do away with all plastic bags.

All our outlets will soon be giving away paper bags only. Please re-use them in anyway you like. We have a few suggestions on how to recycle printed on the paper bags. Do feel free to let us know if you have more ways of using the paper bags.

Our “Switch Recycle Non Woven Bag Col : Khaki/Brown” bag is selling at RM5 per piece.

The New MacBook 2.1 White

The new MacBook 2.1 White is available since last week and it has been selling like hot cakes.
At a glance, it looks exactly the same as the previous version. But if you look further, something that Apple keeps it in a low profile. It is RM200 cheaper than the previous version. But the big thing is, it comes with a 8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW).

A word of caution for customers who would like to get this MacBook. Please make sure you know the different as there are still many MacBook 2.1 White with DVD/CDRW Combo Drive in the market which is selling at RM3499.
