does the new macbook have student rebate??? and free gift??
my fren from sarawak said reseller there hv free gifts of keyboard protector, bag and installation of parallel and microsoft office..
November 16th, 2007 at 12:47 pm
The New MacBook is RM3999, RM200 cheaper.
Back-to-school program ended sometime back.
Installation of Parallels Desktop and Microsoft Office without the purchase of the software are an illegal act. The reseller you mention is either ignorant or trying to pull a quick one on you.
November 16th, 2007 at 2:16 pm
From what i know is when student buy any apple computer also have student rebate.. Y Malaysia din offer this kind of rebate?
November 17th, 2007 at 3:28 pm
as you mentioned
” Purchase any system(s) + ACPP = Free Installment plan (valid for 6 months and 12 months only) ”
Free instalment plan does that mean Free Merchant Interest (zero-interest) by credit card ?
As 30th Nov - 2nd Dec is a PC Fair III 2007, I wonder if SWTICH will be in PISA PC Fair as well ? Any promotion for coming PC Fair and also X’Mas, like rebate/discount, free goodies or other excited promotion ?
Why SWITCH does not provide zero-interest plan for all potential buyers ? I believe more potential buyers would get their Mac products if there is such zero-interest plans. Anyhow, just my 2nd cents.
Suggestion :
1) I hope that SWITCH will put up a “Promotion” section at the website, that currently on-going promotion by SWITCH outlets, as it would be more easier for customers like us to know the latest happening @ SWITCH.
November 17th, 2007 at 8:16 pm
Thank you for your suggestion. We will look into it.
November 18th, 2007 at 2:11 pm

November 18th, 2007 at 2:54 pm
i refering to mac comment…
yea, how come malaysia dun hv student rebate as other countries like s’pore have..
November 18th, 2007 at 3:07 pm
You can wait until next year’s back to school promotion.
At any level, Malaysian enjoy very competitive price for Mac computers as we do not have to pay for import duty as well as GST.
For example, the current MacBook 2.0G, Malaysia is selling at RM3999 while Singapore’s selling at SGD1788 (approx. RM4127).
