I installed Leopard on my 1.33 GHz iBook and it’s like getting a new Mac. The first hour or so after Leopard booted up for the first time and I restored all my files and applications, everything was very slow and my CPU fan was humming like a vacuum cleaner. But be patient because Spotlight and Time Machine were doing their stuff in the background.
After letting Leopard settle down, everything is almost as speedy as Tiger. Spotlight is much faster, and surprisingly now I can playback large resolution Quicktime files (eg Tekzilla, DLTV) much smoother compared to Tiger. However I do notice that my Yojimbo entry pops up a little slower when I do a Spotlight search.
